Cecilia's Last Tea Party
by Russell Davis
Directed by Will Pomerantz
Original Music and Sound by Katie Down

Cecilia, the child of a native princess and a Western colonial governor, lives on a small island nation in the midst of an ominous upheaval. She builds a fantasy world with her animal companions, Dodo, an ancient pelican, and Dada, a rare Bengal tiger.

The trio regularly sit down for tea and lessons on civilized behavior, but their insular world is broken by the island's new commanding officer, Billy Krakatoa, and Aunt Tambora, who has come to stay after the disappearance of Cecilia's mother. Cecilia's extraordinary nocturnal adventures offer an escape from an increasingly threatening environment, but will they help her move towards the life expected of her now?
